visit with Aunt Judy

Last week we went to see my Aunt Judy. She and her husband Byron have a book store and so Sarah and Dylan were able to make a craft and get Christmas gifts. :) Sarah and Dylan had a good time and we also ate lunch with them.

Dylans 2nd Bday

Hi All,

Dylan had his 2nd Bday last week. He is doing well. He had a new friend come over his name is Kyle. I have been friends with Kyle's dad for nearly 30 years new.

Dylan did a good job on his cake, but did not much care for his dinner. He just does not have the time or interest in eating much.

Flagstaff

Here we are in Flagstaff AZ. it was the coldest here. It was about 10 F. it was soooo cold it hurt our ears and noses. After this stop we headed all the way home to Cali. :)

It also happened that our first Inn we stayed at in Flagstaff the heater did not work. After about an hour trying we left that place and found a new place to stay.

Leaving Tx

On our way out of town we saw this Bull made of metal. We also stopped in a nice little town Fredricksburg, Tx. We happened to stop in the same town on our way to Fl. 5 years ago.

This is just a pics of Sarah and Dylan in the backseat, it was a tight fit. They did well most of the trip.

Our next stop was Albuquerque NM. Most of our drive from Carlsbad to Albuquerque was snowing.

Our next stop was Carlsbad, NM.

We went to Carlsbad Caverns. As you can see from the pics it snowed. It was very cold.

The Carlsbad Caverns are very interesting. It is a constant 57 degrees all year.

Dylan is stayin cool.

we arrived in Austin TX.

We arrived in Austin TX today. We had dinner at an Indonesian restaurant. It was tasty with a TX flavor. Silvy says it was not really authentic. Its cold here. To all those I left in FL. you got some good weather. More to come.

Leaving FL to Cali

Hi All,

We left FL two days ago and we are in TX. now, we also stopped in Mobile AL. Its cold here in Austin. Here are a few pics.

1st is leaving FL. I have always wanted to take a pic of this store. Here is the sign.

This was our first stop Mobile AL. Silvy and Sarah crashed out so fast.

And here they are in the morning in Mobile AL. and then we are off to Austin TX. to see Bill and Mechelle.

Halloween

Hi All,

Halloween is upon us, here are a few pics of Sarah and Dylan in costume and with their carved pumpkin. This pumpkin only lasted about 4 day in FL. we kept it in the house, but it just rotted away so quick.

Dylan and his John Deer

Hi All,

Dylan has found his 1st push toy. He likes to go with me to take out the trash and go to the mail box and pushes his own John Deer. We also have a shuffle board court and he enjoys standing behind and pushing his tractor.

As you can see it rained on our trip to Busch Gardens but the Shaner's Market pic. The next day it was raining so hard right up until we parked at Busch Gardens, then the rest of the day was great.

Sarah's Resume

Over the Summer Sarah wanted to earn some money and I asked her if she had a resume. Below is a copy of what we came up with, rough draft.

Mostly we completed the resume this Summer, she never did get a job. Silvy has been giving her things to do around the house just recently. We have not given her any chores to do around the house yet. She already keeps her room clean and her bed made and I think that is already doing a great job.
