dylan climbs

Hi everyone,

Dylan is really getting around these days. For a while we just had toy boxes blocking an entry way, but as you can see from the pics, Dylan learned to climb over it. We now have a gate and a chair for Sarah to climb over.

The toy boxes were nice because Sarah was able to climb over so easy. Now we have to climb over the gate too.

Anyway not much else going on here, our weather is nice, Christmas is in full swing. Sarah is enjoying school so much this year. Sarah will have her 1st sleep over bday party. It will be her 1st time to sleep at a friends house, I think she will do fine. It is a friend she has had since Kindergarten.

Hope everyone is having a nice holiday season, dealing with the hustle and bustle one day at a time. Silvy and I will both be off this Christmas day and the day after too. That will be nice for us all.

happy Halloween

Hi all,

Hope you had a happy Halloween, we did here. Sarah had a party with some school friends and family. And later we went for some trick o treating. Sarah had a really great day. Dylan however was sick, he was still in good spirits.

chillin at the pool

Hi all,

Last week I put Dylan in Sarah's little pool, he really enjoyed it. Later the day I also gave him a bath in the pool. After he got the lay of the land all he really wanted to do was pic grass and eat it.

Sam's Bday

Hi, well Sam had a Bday recently. We all had a good time, I think Sam had a blast take a look at the pics. Anyway, it is a skate place not far from our house and Kristin's too. Sam has also started ice hockey there too.

I also put on a pair of skates and must say, 1. I did not fall, yeah and 2. was able to skate, actually skate. :)

so few words

hello all,

ya know I have so few words in most of my posts, and why should this be any different.

Sarah is in the swing of 2nd grade, Mrs. Appolloni and she does seem to be quite nice. Today we have been building a pretzel house or home or cabin, take you pick. Sam came in the AM too and joined us. Our project is not done yet, but we will post some pics soon.

Dylan as you may have seen is progressing well, he is standing on his own, much to my suprise at his time. He was kinda grumpy today. I am fortunate enough to spend the whole day with him now once a week, while Sarah is in school and Silvy is working. I do very much look forward to this, I mentioned this to 2 of patients, and had to take a few moments to actually give thought. That I look forward so much, just to see him smile or that he finds just an interesting 'thing' on the floor, I watch in amazment that he finds so interesting a tv cable, usually everything goes in his mouth, but this he just shakes, maybe to hear the rattle.

Just out of no where is rainng, its 12:11 Sun Aug 31., so many times it just rains, after a while you know when to expect it or what to watch fori in the sky, but no matter how many times it happenes, I just love the rain. As long as it does not cause any problems.

Latley I have been missing my family in California very much.

Well its late and if you know me WELL its not time for bed anytime soon, although I should already be asleep with 2 little ones. Even to this day I am so suprised I could be a father to 2 beautiful kids. I would never have doubted it, but sometimes I just have to take a deep breath and say WOW it has already happened. They will surely wake me early in the AM. With the usual I am hungy or the most familiar cry of Dyaln. It seems he only cries to let me know he is awake, because as I walk in and say 'Hello' he always greets me with a smile. I wish, I could give so many smiles back, but without a simple cup of coffee 1st, it more of a hello, a quick toss in the air to see his smile of amazement and off we go for a diaper change, bottle (for Dyaln) and coffee (for me). :)

short vaca

we went to Miami for a short vacation, before Sarah returns to school, some beach and some mall, mostly. It did rain alot, but that was okay for us, its usually short. Here is a pic of Sarah in front of a stone horse, and Silvy, Sarah and Dylan in our hotel room.

1st day of 2nd grade

Aug 18th was Sarahs 1st day of 2nd grade. She actually only went on that 1stday and then Tropical Storm Fay came along and stuck around. We all got wet and lots of flooding in nearby areas. Anyway here is a pic of Sarah on her 1st day. She returns on Mon 25th.

Sarah, Dylan and Ripley

Hi All,

Tomorrow is the begining of Sarah's new school year, she enters 2nd grade. We met her teacher last week, her name is Mrs Appaloni. She seems very nice.

We have lots of pics to post soon and will blog more on Sarah's 1st school day.

Here is a pic of both Sarah and Dylan and Ripley. Dylan has taken a real interest in Ripley. As she passes he turns quickly and always has his hands out to get a fist full of fur.

still not crawling

well I thought Dylan would be crawling by now, here are a few pics, as you can see he is under our bed. He get up on his hands and knees but he only goes in reverse and goes until he is stopped, by walls, beds, etc...

Sarah's 2 wheeler

a while back Sarah learned to ride a 2 wheeler, here is a clip.

Easter 08

On Easter, my work has a big Easter Egg hunt for the kids, this year they had pony rides. Here are many pics of Easter this year and also some we spent at Kristins too.
